Car parts are INCREDIBLY expensive. It’s almost mind-blowing, they are so costly. A set of front brakepads for my minivan costs about $50, and the tax is almost 10% here in Upstate New York. And then there’s the added cost of driving out to the car parts store and back. Ugh.
