I do an absolute TON of online shopping; probably 90% of all my purchases (not including groceries) is done online. LOVE IT. So easy! I’ve recently been delving into the “shopping rewards” websites, although I admit I am pretty new. The shopping rewards sites (like Swagbucks, Ebates, etc) give you points for shopping at merchants’ sites (like Buy.com or WalMart.com) through their sites. The coupons at these sites are generally limited ($5 or $10 in a gift coupon for spending hundreds of $$ through them). Not very lucrative. But there’s another choice– and the folks at Iteya.com have something really good going, and they asked me to mention them– Iteya.com offers the best shopping rewards around!

Basically, you sign in to their website (you can view coupons and deals for no charge, but it’s totally free to join the network) and look for deals at various stores of your choice. You can search for store coupons and currents deals (as with the other sites), but Iteya also lists sales and clearances! (I am a BIG clearance shopper, so I like this feature). And the rewards at Iteya are best of all– they give Amazon.com gift cards (Amazon has something for everyone, so it’s practically like getting free money). Here’s the Iteya point structure for their Amazon.com gift card reward:

  • $5 Amazon GC = 10,000 Iteya Pts.
  • $10 Amazon GC = 18,500 Iteya Pts.
  • $25 Amazon GC = 43,000 Iteya Pts.
  • $50 Amazon GC = 80,000 Iteya Pts.
  • $75 Amazon GC = 110,000 Iteya Pts.
  • $100 Amazon GC = 140,000 Iteya Pts.

Points are not too hard to get, either. Here’s a quick example of some points earned in typical purchases:

  • Progene Healthcare free trial = 20,000 Iteya Points
  • Sirius Satellite Radio receiver & radio orders = 20,000 Iteya Points
  • VistaPrint (I’m always shopping at VistaPrint)= 3,000 Iteya Points
  • Wirefly cell phone plans = 35,000-65,000 Iteya Points

You automatically get 1,000 Iteya Points for signing up; referring a friend gets you 2,500 points. Everytime you purchase something through the Iteya.com website, you collect more points toward your gift card. It’s a pretty neat system, and every single penny counts, doesn’t it?

Iteya.com is a good place to look for coupon codes, printable coupons (powered by Coupons.com), clearance notices, and more. And if you sign up with them, you can save more money. Check them out if you’re interested.
