Linkworth is So Confusing

I’ve been stretching out in various pro-blogger directions, trying to widen my horizon here. I’ve joined Sponsored Reviews (which gives me about 1 opportunity a month or so), ReviewMe (which gives me about 1 opportunity a YEAR, sheesh), Blogsvertise (another lame one), and Linkworth. I joined Linkworth about a year ago; I think I’ve only seen about 3 or 4 offers from this company.

I wonder if the problem lies with the baffling complexity of the website. Every once in a while, when I feel brave, I log in and try to navigate around the place. It is SO confusing! I’m no Einstein, but I’m no Elmer P. Worrell, either… Linkworth has me completely stumped. It is a confusing mess of LinkAds, LinkPost, LinkMura, LinkText, LinkThis and LinkThat with a billion different options. And then you have to figure out WHERE and WHAT you submit– a blog, or a website? And with what? And what are LinkMuras? What do I do? Do I submit every blog with everything? How? Gosh, I usually quit after about 5 aggravating minutes of trying to navigate the place. Yuk.

I have to wonder– how popular is this place? Are you able to decipher the thousands of links that tell you this and that?

So what I’m reading here is you don’t like anything that doesn’t make you enough money? If sponsored reviews or reviewme gave you 10 chances a month, then they would be great?

I think any of these places give as much as you put into it. Linkworth’s options are different ways you can make money, vs say a sponsored review that only give you blog reviews to earn. More ways to make money will mean more options.

If you are a simple person then options probably aren’t your friend. Just like my wife would rather just have a tv that turns on, where I’d prefer one with all the bells and whistles. Just a matter of preference.

as far as how popular the place is, it’s been around forever and people make a lot of money using it. if you’re not popular, then how would a business stay open, ya know?

I’ve gotten about 3 things from them in I don’t know how many years and you can’t cash out until you get $25.00 which I am $4.00 off of lol The entire website is confusing.

I agree – I’ve done a few paid reviews and I think I should get a pay out this month after many months. The other parts of the site are very confusing to me too.

    Hi Rebecka,
i wish I could say yes. But, I am clueless to all of this link this stuff. I get lost at Link Referral.

You would never guess that back in the 90′s I designed web sites and various other things such as menus for restaurants now would you?

But, when I was doing it the word blog hadn’t been invented yet. I feel ancient but this was shortly after Windows came out and changed the world. My first computer course was to learn Doss.

A month after I finished it Windows was released. I myself am happy with Blogger. But, I entered a whole new ball game when I hired LJ to do my design work.

She only charged me $50 for the work and my numbers have soared like mad simply because she is so savvy about things. She registered me with places I never ever heard of and she selected my key words.

I tell you for a $$50 investment it was certainly worth it. Right now she is working on learning the coding for to design on WP blogs also. for instance I never dreamed in a million years that i would eve be able to type in the words The Painted Veil and actually show up on the first page with Google.

This is the very 1st time I have ever been able to do that. there is so much information posted relating to the movie, the novel, and of course Somerset Maugham that I truly am amazed to be there. But, I goggled it The Painted Veil the other night and there was my blog mixed in with all of the other stuff…but right on the first page. I don’tknow who all she registered my blog with but it worked.

It really makes a big big difference on Blogger if you have someone come in and design via coding as opposed to you simply doing the design works with the limitations that Blogger has.

If you want to know the answer to this question I net you she can explain it and tell you about it. Her buttons are on my sidebar at my blog. She really knows her stuff when it comes to getting you out there and noticed!

I hope you are doing well. I haven’t heard from you in a while and I also really need to visit your other blogs!! I miss your wonderful photos and your historical information!!

I hope you have a wonderful evening and good luck!!

  7. I’m so glad to see that I’m not the only one who is befuddled! Whew!

Jackie– your comments are always so entertaining, LOL! Thanks for the info.

  8. I have been with Linkworth for over a year. I’ve made about $14 so far. Sure, I love to make money, but some things are much harder than others. Would I prefer to make $10 digging ditches, or $100 wiping tables?

I have tried and tried to figure out the complexity of Linkworth, and I think after a year I have decided I cannot figure it out. I did wonder if anyone else found the site confusing, or it was just me. Nothing against the company at all— but I am REALLY confused! There seems to be no manual, either, lol!

I signed up for them, too. I’ve gotten two offers in a year, and neither one paid enough for me to cash out. I checked with them once. They said they could only pay you if you’re nowhere near the $20 or whatever it was if you closed your account so until that day happens, I basically didn’t get paid squat for the two posts I did.

Granted, I’m talking about the posts section, not LinkAds or any of the other stuff. I haven’t tried those aspects of the site yet. I also agree with you that it’s not the best organized one out there.

Which reminds me, maybe it is time I canceled the account.
