For the Geek Extraordinare

stphaser

Got a hankering for geekery? I’ve got some great news for you– a super duper Geeky Gadget Website chock full of everything big and small under the sun. Some of the gadgets are really, really amazing! And others make excellent gifts. I mean, who WOULDN’T want a toe rocket toy or a toe door opener (that’s a very cool gadget, by the way) or a new iPad wall case or a cool new Star Trek movie replica Phaser? Every post features a photo, description of geeky gadgety item, and a way to purchase it. The site itself does not sell anything (not that I saw, anyway), but they feature the best of the best in geeky gadgets. Also, they do offer online coupons for any purchases you make, which is very nice. Not all coupons are for geeky gadgets. They’ve got Expedia coupons and Orbitz promotion codes, among other things. And, of course, they do have coupons for stores that sell the gadgets, too.

It’s a really neat site! Expect to spend a LOT of time there. I spent probably half an hour today (and I’ve been to the site before, too!) and I didn’t even scratch the surface of cool gadgets! Seriously, some of these things are very practical. I do love the toe door opener! And some of the other items make terrific gag gifts or serious holiday gifts. You don’t need to be a geek to enjoy the stuff there. Have fun!

Find Scrubs Online

shopbuttn

Oh, I love online shopping! It’s just so wonderfully convenient. More and more, I am buying things online, even difficult to find specialty items, too. Oh I remember how it used to be so difficult finding specialty order products in retail stores. Online, there’s everything under the sun, even decorative nursing scrubs on sale. There’s a local medical retail store downtown. I was window shopping and was amazed to see how expensive medical equipment and other items are. Yikes.

If you work in the medical industry and need some high-quality, attractive uniforms, give BlueSkyScrubs.com a try. They have a very wide selection of stunning uniforms for men and women, nurses and doctors, such as on this page:
http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/Scrubs-for-Men/
. They are so nice! As a patient, I always like to see the colorful uniforms over the plain (scary) white uniforms.

The prices are very good. You can save quite a bit o’ money by shopping online!

Sinks Online!

shp09724

Did you know that copper is an anti-bacterial metal? This is why it’s been so popular for water supply plumbing pipes. It’s relatively corrosive free and it resists the bacterial gunk that tends to accumulate in pvc and iron pipes.

I also love copper sinks. They look so Old World, so classy! If I ever re-do my half bath, I would love a Copper Sink.

Another terrific thing about them is, if purchased online from a reputable dealer, you can grab Copper Sinks for phenomenal prices! These sinks can run into the hundreds at a retail store. MR Direct Sinks and Faucets have great prices and a limited lifetime guarantee. Sweet. Check it out if you’re looking for a good sink for a low price.

Use Coupons for Flowers Delivery

Uh oh, Mother’s Day is just around the corner! I think I forgot. :S It’s been a crazy April and May. Ugh.

Guess I’ll have to send something very quickly. Thank God for all the coupon codes out there, just for Mother’s Day. Did you know that you can order flowers delivery online?! Yes, indeedy! Good thing, too. But did you also know that you can save a bundle of cash when you use ProFlowers coupon codes to order flowers online? Yep! Coupon codes is a great way to save a little money on the Mothers Day Flower Delivery. Obviously, ProFlowers coupons are hot right now. There’s probably a whole bunch of us, hurriedly logging in to order flowers before Sunday!!

Coupon codes are very handy dandy little things. I remember the “olden” days when coupon codes and promotional codes were extremely secretive and difficult to locate online. It was like one of the “big” secrets. But now that more people are shopping online, entire websites are devoted to offering the latest, greatest coupon code. You can save a whole lot of money sometimes, either with free shipping or first-time buyer specials, or even 25% off deals.

Definitely check out coupon codes before you buy anything online. See ya at the checkout. :S

Buzz Question: Is AWAI A Scam?

Honestly, I don’t know. I have never hear of AWAI until now. AWAI stands for American Writers & Artists, Inc. Apparently, AWAI offers online courses for writers, teaching them how to write better. When I did a little digging, I seemed to find a lot of positive input about AWAI. There IS a real writing course. The negatives were that the company does heavy marketing for various copywriting courses and that some of the courses are expensive. And then there are the usual folks who take the course, don’t complete it and then blame the company because they cannot find a job. Just a little warning here– anybody who says they can “get you a job” right after you pay them for an education is probably pulling your leg. That’s includes a lot of bona fide, accredited colleges, mind you, at least in my experience.

But is AWAI a scam? I am a freelance writer. I started out with blogging as a hobby, and it developed into a nice little career. I am always looking for ways to improve my writing. Sure, anybody can find that information elsewhere– try your local library, hello! But you have to be really self-motivated to teach yourself. A regimented course– especially one that you pay money for– is easier to maintain the discipline. With a paid-for course, you have a vested interest in getting it done and not wasting your money!

I’d like to hear from anyone who has tried AWAI. Lord knows, the Internet needs good writers. Have you seen some of the discordant slop out there? Leave a comment and tell me what you think.

Dell Coupons For You

Looking to grab a deal on a nice Dell desktop or notebook? Before you hit that “Click to Buy” button, check out the many Dell computer coupons available online. I have saved an incredible amount of money by using coupon codes. Admittedly, some coupon codes can be a little difficult to find; they may seem buried within scads of information or other clutter from the search engines. So it helps to have a bookmarked cache of coupon code websites. Here’s a very good one I’ve recently come across: BestOnlineCoupons.com. They site is well-organized and easily searched. They have many, many stores with coupon codes. Besides the Dell coupon codes, they have large listing of the “big names” like Macys, ProFlowers, Old Navy, 1-800-Flowers, Orbitz, Overstock.com, Best Buy, Expedia, Office Depot, Walmart and more. Lots of stuff!

Coupon codes are the darling of online shoppers. They are for me, anyway. ;) I never buy anything until I search for applicable coupon codes. Dell coupons are not always very easy to find online, either!

So remember Mrs. Mecomber, now– never buy anything online until you have looked for coupon codes online! You can seriously save a good deal of money with very little effort. I also recommend that you do bookmark the most reliable sites; this way, coupons are easily at your disposal. :)
