Note: From time to time, I allow guest posts by promising bloggers or advertisers who discuss similar issues related to me or my blogs. Here’s one of them. Since my own son is a LEGO fanatic (he even has his own LEGO blog), I found this post interesting.

My son is absolutely in love with LEGOs. He thinks that they’re the greatest toys ever. I agree with him though and actually enjoy building all kinds of things with the blocks. Well, we went in this big LEGO store not that long ago while we were on vacation and he saw chess sets made out of blocks. Well I thought that it would be really fun to try and find him a LEGO chess set like he saw as one of his birthday gifts.

While I was looking through some different chess sets, I ran across a link for http://Wirelessinternet.net and after I read through it I decided to sign up for one of the internet packages that I saw on there for our home.

I found one LEGO chess set that I could buy but it was a whole lot of money. Instead, I found a tutorial on how to make your own LEGO chess set, which I’m going to work on. I may have to buy a whole bunch of extra blocks, but I think that it will be really neat in the end.

Leggo my Lego!

If you are as old as I am, you remember that old television commercial for Eggo waffles, where the kids scream at each other “Leggo my Eggo!” Eggo waffles were pretty good. I might even have screamed that at my brothers to get one.

Anyway… I’m quite off the topic, lol. There’s a new cute computer game for Lego lovers (I have two sons who have spent a small fortune on Legos). C|Net does a good review and has a download link. It sounds like a very cute game, and I’m sure my sons will love it. They are quite the Lego fans– they are members of the online Lego Club, too! So now, instead of buying tons of Legos, we can buy a ton of ram to run the new games!
