I was recently asked to help configure the burgeoning Frugal Hacks blogroll into a scrollbox. I have a thorough tutorial about how to do that here, but for ease (since most Frugal Hackers are very busy moms), I thought I’d just post the whole code right here.

<div style="height:250px; overflow:auto;">
<p class="sideheader">Frugal Blogroll</p>
<a href="http://frugalhacks.com/?page_id=65"> **join here**</a>

<script src="http://rpc.blogrolling.com/display.php?r=ae7cadbf39b863c96fca9f4c21d0d51e" language="javascript" type="text/javascript"> </script>
</div>

If you post that code into your sidebar, you will see this:

Frugal Blogroll

**join here**

Now, the width of the scrollbox goes with the width of your sidebar. It will not be as wide in your narrower sidebar. You can change the height to be anything you want. 250px is what I like, but the font in your sidebar may be larger, and thus a longer scrollbox may be required. Experiment a little.
